Alexandre Bazin is a musician and a current member from the renowned Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM), based in Paris, France. His work considers the sonic experience drawing on a rich mix of acoustic instrumentation and analog synthesis. As a experimentalist music researcher, Bazin’s compositional projects are primarily concerned with a very personal seal on a music of emotional power. He holds the master’s degree in electronic music composition from conservatory in Bordeaux, France. His music is published by Umor Rex Records and Polytechnic Youth, Kowtow Records. Alex has composed with Jonathan Fitoussi under the project name Two Colors.  

Alex has also the unique opportunity to work for the GRM as radio producer on different documentaries on France Culture and France Musique  : John Cage, Minimal Music Part 1 & Part 2, Guitar in Experimental Music, Field Recording, Pierre Henry, Bernard Parmegiani, Bernard Baschet, Pierre Schaeffer , Music & Experimental Film Part 1 & Part 2 , Music & Architecture Part 1, Part 2 , Luc Ferrari . Alex arranges interviews for Radio & for Présences Électronique Festival with artists such as Bernard Parmegiani, Jim O’Rourke, Guy Reibel, Beatriz Ferreyra, Pan Sonic, Blixa Bargeld, Carstein Nicolai, Eliane Radigue, Matmos, François Bayle, Charlemagne Palestine, Charles Cohen, Oren Ambarchi, Stephen O’Malley, Christian Fennesz… etc.
